Business Development Associate


The StudioC is led by experts who understand Church communication and we are on a mission to bring clarity and purpose to church member engagement. Our team is passionate about equipping church leaders with the resources and insights necessary to deliver personalized member communication.  We do this by delivering innovative solutions to our ministry partners to engage their members in transformational next steps. These innovative solutions include our Marketing & Strategy Consulting, Member Engagement Software (MES), Marketing campaign development, analytics and insights.


The Business Development Associate works closely with the Director of Sales, and Marketing team, to support and coordinate business development activities. This includes assisting in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.


  • Follow up with prospect leads from demos, sales presentations, conferences, etc.
  • Create sales workflows in HubSpot and document all sales activity
  • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline; track progress and proactively follow up
  • Create drafts, templates, and repository of content for emails, presentations, and sales materials
  • Coordinate and participate in discovery calls
  • Assist with direct prospecting; apply sales process and methods to articulate StudioC’s value proposition and present solutions to prospects
  • Assist with development and writing of sales proposals and contracts
  • Conduct research on future business opportunities; stay on top of market and industry trends



Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum of one year work experience in a business development or inside sales role, ideally in a B2B business.
  • Proficiency using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform – Hubspot preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting in front of an audience (live or video)
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize workload and manage tasks independently
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a drive to achieve
  • High sense of urgency; capacity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Some travel may be required, generally less than 10% of the time
