- To manage our business operations and perform our obligations and exercise our rights under any agreement that you or your organization has with us.
- As we believe to be necessary or appropriate to: (a) comply with judicial proceedings, court orders or legal processes or to respond to proper governmental request for investigation; (b) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; and (c) protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, including attempts to manipulate or violate our policies, procedures, and terms and conditions; and (d).protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Studio-C, our users or the public.
- For such other purposes as you may consent (from time to time) or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
- Organizational Customers. We share information with organizations with whom we have a contract to provide Services. For example, if your organization engages us to administer an assessment, we may use your personal information to ask you to complete an assessment at your organization’s request. If you complete an assessment, we process the personal information you choose to provide to us to develop aggregated insights that do not contain any personal information about you or anyone else whom your organization asked to complete the assessment. We share these aggregated insights with your organization to facilitate your organization’s purposes for deploying the assessment.
- Other Disclosures with Your Consent. We may ask for your consent to share your information with other recipients not described elsewhere in this Statement. For example, our Services include certain social media and other features that allow you to share information with other users, persons and organizations when you use them. We provide you with notices while you use our Services that explain when one of the features you are using will result in the disclosure of your personal information to other users, persons and organizations. We also provide settings that allow you to configure to whom your posts and content are available. When you use these types of features, you instruct us to disclose your information according to our notices and your settings.
- Service Providers. We share information with service providers as necessary for them to assist us with our business operations and provide services to us, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection agreements. Among other things, service providers assist us with website hosting, data storage, data analytics, helping with addressing security, fixing errors, providing technical support, sending communications, providing assessments, fulfilling user requests, and other activities related to the management of our business and services.
- Social Media Platforms and Networks that offer functionalities, plugins, widgets, or tools in connection with our Services. If you choose to use these features offered by a third-party social networking site (such as a third-party operated “like” button), certain information may be shared with or collected by those social media companies. For more information about what information is shared or collected, and how it is used, please see the applicable social media company’s privacy policy.
- To comply with law and protect legal interests. We may disclose information for legal reasons as we believe to be necessary or appropriate to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, legal process, or proper governmental request; (b) enforce any agreement we may have entered into with you or your organization, including investigating any violations or asserting remedies; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) protect against harm (whether tangible or intangible) to the rights, property or safety of Studio-C, our users or the public as required or permitted by law; and (e) establish or exercise our rights, defend against a legal claim, and investigate, prevent or take action regarding possible illegal activities or a violation of our policies.
- In connection with a sale or similar transaction. We may share information with a potential or actual buyer in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings), including any due diligence related to such a transaction.
- We do not sell. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not provide your information to third parties for purposes which do not relate to Client events, products, and/or services.
- Cookies: Cookies are small data files containing a string of characters that a website sends to your computer. Cookies are stored on the device that you use to access a website. We may place cookies on our websites, or on the websites of our customers. We also participate in behavior-based advertising. This means that a third party uses technology (e.g., a cookie) to collect information about your use of our website so that they can provide advertising about products and services tailored to your interests on our website, or on other websites.
- Pixel tags (or web beacons): A pixel tag is a small images placed on a website or within the body of an email for the purpose of tracking activity when you visit a website, click on a link, or open an email, and is often used in combination with cookies). We may use pixel tags or web beacons on our websites, or in our emails, or on the websites or emails of our customers.
- Website and mobile application log files: We may keep a record of any devices or IP addresses that visit our websites, or the websites of our customers.
- To make our Services easier to use.
- To gather metrics about how users interact with our Services, our websites, or the websites of our customers.
- For security reasons.
- To provide personalized content. For example, we may store user preferences, your default language, device and browser information, your profile information which includes, the level of usage of service and the web-pages on our site which you visit, so we can identify you across devices and personalize the content you see.
- To improve our Services.
- To advertise to you.

- Promotional Emails. You can opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in marketing or promotional emails you receive from us. If you decide not to receive marketing or promotional emails, we may still send you service or transactional-related communications, such as notices about your account.
- Promotional Text Messages. You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP,” or following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the text message.
- Accessing, Changing, Deleting or Exercising Other Rights in Relation to Your Personal Information. If you have registered for an account, you may review, update, correct, or delete certain personal information that you have provided to us by logging into your account.

- Transfers of Information to Other Countries. We are based in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, you should be aware that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which it was collected, including the United States, and the laws may be less stringent than the laws in your country. By submitting your personal information to us you agree to the transfer, storage and processing of your information in a country other than your country of residence including, but not necessarily limited to, the United States.
- Children. Our Services are not intended for persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from persons under 13 through our Services, we will take appropriate steps to delete this information.
- Third Parties and Links to Other Websites and Services. Our Services may contain links to other websites, content, or services maintained by third parties. We are not responsible for the collection, processing or disclosure of personal information collected through these other websites and services. Such links are provided solely for convenience, and your usage and browsing on any third-party website or service is subject to their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on other websites or services you may access through our Service.
- How We Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals. Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature that signals to websites that a visitor does not want to have his/her online activity and behavior tracked. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus for how to recognize or respond to a DNT signal. For these reasons, Studio-C does not currently respond to DNT signals.
- Changes to This Privacy Statement. We may update this Statement from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, legal requirements, and other factors. When changes are made to this Statement, they will become effective immediately upon posting. You can check the date at the bottom of this page to see when this Statement was last revised. We encourage you to review this Statement periodically for the latest information on our information processing practices.
